Our Story
Aegis was founded by practitioners who spent years inside the security community — in government, defense contracting, and the private sector — before turning to the challenge of talent. We saw firsthand how difficult it was for organizations to find qualified security professionals, and how poorly served candidates were by recruiters who couldn't tell a red team from a blue team.
We built Aegis to be different. Our team brings direct experience in cybersecurity operations, intelligence, and engineering. That background shapes everything: how we screen candidates, how we brief hiring managers, and how we navigate the sensitive, high-stakes nature of security hiring.
